There are 2 components that Instructors are required to complete to become accredited to deliver the Blended Online AMHFA Community Course:
Component 1 – This is the eLearning component of the Blended Online AMHFA Community Course (Up-Skill) which takes about 7 hours to complete. This is the same eLearning that course participants will complete before attending the 5-hour Instructor-led video conferencing session.
Component 2 – Up-Skill to deliver Blended Online AMHFA Community Course Webcast. This Up-Skill component equips you to deliver the Blended Online AMHFA Community Course (5-hour Instructor-led video conferencing) session.
After completing the eLearning component of this Up-Skill, the link to access the Webcast component will appear on the same page as your eLearning Certificate of Completion.
Course participants receive a copy of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Manual to keep. Should course participants are eligible to become accredited as a Mental Health First Aider and have the opportunity to complete the online Accreditation Assessment. Upon successful completion, MHFAiders will receive a digital Certificate of Accreditation.
