Champion Communities Program

RECOGNISING RESILIENT AND MENTALLY HEALTHY COMMUNITIES
FOLLOW THE MHFA DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY

The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Champion Communities Program supports and recognises communities across Australia for their commitment to Mental Health First Aid training.

It is our way of recognising Australian Local Government Areas (LGAs) that not only invest in developing mental health first aid skills in their people, but also demonstrate a strong commitment to embedding Mental Health First Aid training within their local community setting in a staged, integrated and sustainable way.

The Program promotes partnerships and collaboration between Local Councils, organisations, groups and individuals, to deliver Mental Health First Aid training across a range of settings and population groups within their local community.
