Does your workplace have a mental health first aid officer?

Stress related presenteeism and absenteeism are directly costing Australian employers $10.11 billion a year. 3.2 days per worker are lost each year through workplace stress. Mental Health First Aid can provide knowledge and skills for your colleagues to pick up the early signs and symptoms of mental illness, offer initial help and encourage workers to seek help early. Now that most workplaces have a physical first aid officer, it's time the same is done for mental health.

Mental health training is more accessible than ever before

PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that you first organise an Instructor to complete the follow-up face-to-face component before you commence the eLearning component, as you will need to complete the face-to-face within 3 months after completing the eLearning.

The 12-hour Standard MHFA Course can already be delivered in workplaces with tailored videos and scenarios. Our aim is to make mental health training more widely-accessible, particularly for workplaces who find it difficult to release their staff to attend 12 hours of training, by offering a blended version of this course.
This course is designed for workplaces who find it difficult to release their staff to attend the 12-hour Standard MHFA Course. It is completed in a Blended format, combining eLearning plus a follow-up half day face-to-face session.
