This course teaches members of the public (18 years and over) how to assist an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander adult who is developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.

This is a 2 day Nationally Accredited Course, facilitated by a Principal Master MHFA Trainer. Evidence, research and data referred to in this course has shown that when people attend this course, they are given additional skills and knowledge to support and assist someone who may have a Mental Illness or may have a Mental Health problem. It is a culturally appropriate flexible course for anyone working or living in an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander environment.
