The 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course teaches adults (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to adults who are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis.

Additional Information

FREE (usually $220) Youth MHFA course for any resident (16 years and older) with generous grant funding from City of Vincent in collaboration with YMCA.

Outcomes: 1) One Year Certification of Attendance or 3-Year YMHFA Accreditation (on completion of post- quiz test) 2) Increased awareness of mental health issues which young people face, development of the adolescent brain, major mental health illnesses and how to respond to a young person experiencing a mental health crisis
