The cost of the program is $350 and includes: Light refreshments, lunch, tea and coffee provided. Each participant will receive: The Standard Mental Health First Aid Manual (4th Ed.), Information booklets from Beyond Blue, Sane and other professional organisations, and a Mental Health First Aid Certificate of Accreditation. Once payment has been completed, a tax invoice will be provided. Payment can be made by direct deposit or all major credit cards. Course fees are transferable but non-refundable - if you are not able to make it on the day, you will be offered a place in the next available course. Plenty of on-site parking is available down the side streets. Additionally, the venue is on a bus route as the shopfront is directly located on Albany Hwy, near the corner of Balmoral St. and Albany Hwy and is disability friendly. There is a fridge available if you choose to bring your lunch, alternatively, there are numerous food venues within walking distance from the training venue.
Amanda is a registered Clinical Counsellor with extensive OHS and WorkCover experience. As a Principal instructor, Amanda is highly sought after, holding a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Masters degree in Counselling and Mental Health and has an academic background in Health Sciences and Evidence-Based practice. Participants complete their final assessment on-line to receive an additional three-year national accreditation as a Mental Health First Aider.
