Sessions Dates & Times
To register for this MHFA Course, please contact:
Please note this is a blended course with components done online in your own time over the week with the first instructor zoom session the following week, this gives you time to work through the modules and reflect on your learning prior to your first instructor session. However, in some cases the timeline can be shorter of one day in between depending on your preference.
We leave a week in between the first instructor session and the final session of the course. Again we provide you time to reflect, become familiar with the content, prior to returning the following week, as time generally gives rise to questions and we want to provide you the best learning experience as possible.

Feedback from participants
"Thank you Mary! Thank you for your courage and vulnerability to be an advocate and freedom-fighter for people living and experiencing mental illness. Through instilled faith, practical teaching, powerful empathy, and by presenting your knowledge and passion, I am so glad to have done the training to become a Mental Health responder. Will highly recommend this course to everyone and anyone! As a person who lives with mental illness, at times the content was revealing and tough to hear but I feel equipped to become a healthier me, and help others compassionately through this training"
“Mary was amazing. The nature of content in a MHFA course can be very daunting to some based on experience or personal history. I can with confidence say that Mary was one of the best facilitators I have ever had, in any course, in my life. She was an absolute delight and I will be definitely be engaging with her to complete any MHFA workplace training I can organise for any organisation I am a part of”.
"Excellent course very informative and communicated well with the instructors sharing her own personal experiences, this helped settle the rest of the people attending and allowing them to also open up. I left the course with a lot more knowledge in MHFA than I had"
"Thank you Mary-you enabled us to be able to begin using our new skills immediately. I really appreciate that your real experience has helped make the content even more relevant".
“I was SO impressed with Mary, Mary is EXCELLENT. She really cares about what everybody has to say and provides valuable feedback which is just as interesting as the course content! I really enjoyed this course and I really enjoyed having Mary as my instructor”.
“I found Mary to be a wonderful presenter who was engaging and worked with the team extremely well. She was easy to listen to, adapted very well for remote delivery and was extremely organised. I found her to be outstanding”.
“Outstanding and will be encouraging other staff to do it as well”.
“Mary is a huge asset to this course!”
