The 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course teaches adults (18 years and over) how to provide initial support to adults who are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis.

Congratulations for thinking about undertaking this socially important and world acclaimed Mental Health First Aid training. Please join us for the 2 days of this important and world acclaimed training. We look forward to meeting you. Presented by Andy Kelly a highly experienced mental health clinician and educator whose experience and clinical stories provide for a rich training experience. Please Note: Please arrive early to ensure your access to free on-site parking as well as your attendance for the start of this training at 9am. Whilst there is a limited service cafe on site, we strongly recommend that you bring food and your favourite beverage with you. Each participant receives the latest addition of the MHFA manual, and on completion of training, online access to provide feedback, print a certificate and for those who wish, to apply to complete requirements to become accredited as Mental Health First Aiders (an no extra cost). Please note that Mental Health First Aid (Aust) require participants to be present for the entire two days of training. Of course, participants are expected to practice Covid safety behaviours.
