Component 1: Self paced eLearning: approx. 3 hours

Component 2: Three x 2.5 zoom sessions - Session 1: 24th June - 9.30am -12 noon Session 2: 24th June - 1pm - 3.30pm Session 3: 25th June - 9.30am - 12noon


If you have completed the eLearning component and just wish to attend the video conferencing sessions (component 2) the cost for this is $220. Please email to register.

Each participant will receive the latest YOUTH MHFA manual, a quick reference guide on the completion of the training, and a MHFA accreditation certificate (after completed the assessment)

Training will be delivered by Trish Thomas is an experienced Mental Health Professional with hands on expertise working with youth and young adults. Trish is a Principle Master Mental Health First Aid instructor with accreditations in delivering Standard, Youth and Teen MHFA. Trish has formal qualifications in Psychology (Honours) and a postgraduate Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counselling.

Trish’s delivery of training provides participants with relevant, every day life examples of putting mental health first aid into practice, drawing on her experience of working with youth who have experienced behavioural, learning and mental health difficulties. With over 20 years’ experience facilitating training, participants find her programs interactive, engaging and insightful. Trish currently spends her time working individually with youth services, schools and workplaces in areas of mental health and wellness, along with facilitating mental health training programs.
