The Youth Mental Health First Aid course is for adults working or living with adolescents (those aged between 12 and 18 years), however, the course can be relevant for those helping people who are a little younger or older. This course is particularly suitable for parents, school staff, sports coaches, and youth workers.

You are required to attend 8:30 am - 4:30pm both days to get a certificate of attendance. Please be on time and organise child pick-ups or other appointments prior to the course. Participants will receive the course workbook and other useful resources to keep To receive the certificate of attendance you do need to attend the entire course, to be accredited nationally you will need to complete a short online open book quiz. This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.
