Robin has a particular interest in the mental health of elite athletes and is able to provide tailored courses to people working with athletes whether they be developing athletes or athletes at the pinnacle of their sport. These include in athlete career and education at the Australian Institute of Sport and ACT Academy of Sport, player development with the Australian Cricketers Association, and delivery of youth work qualifications to Canberra Raiders rugby league players. She is currently Player Development Manager at Brumbies Rugby. The demands of elite sport may both develop and obscure potential mental health issues and Robin believes it is the duty of every person closely involved with elite athletes to have the skills to apply mental health first aid to their athletes if required.
