Natasha Palethorpe is a trainer for the Standard MHFA course (4th Edition) and Blended MHFA course for Tertiary Students. Natasha holds a Grad Dip in Expressive Psychotherapies, Masters in Art Psychotherapy and a Masters in Occupational Therapy. Her passion is the holistic health (physical and mental) and wellbeing of all, across the life specturm. Natasha currently works as the National Employee Support for a contract mining company (5+ years) and a lecturer for University of Queensland's Masters of Mental Health program (11+ years). Prior to her current positions she obtained strong clinical experience including but not limited to: • refugee/ migrants • torture trauma survivors • disabled children and adults • substance addictions and rehabilitation • incarceration Natasha looks forward to supporting the continued development of participants health literacy via the standard MHFA course both blended and face to face, and strongly believes in its quality and abilities to reduce mental health stigma and provide practical skills to early responders.
