Hi all, I have worked in Mental Health for over 30 years. I believe that this course is very beneficial for all, both in the workplace & personal life. I believe that the only way to dispel the myths surrounding Mental Illness is to educate the public. I would like to see Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) become as popular as general First Aid courses.
Currently working for Queensland Health service - Presents Standard Mental Health First Aid 4th Ed & MHFA for the Suicidal Person course. Experienced working in rural & remote areas of Australia. Worked in indigenous health service areas. No issues with travelling to present MHFA Willing to travel to present to outer areas of the Cairns Health Hinterland Health Service.
