A Parent and Grandparent, having lived for an extended period overseas. Through a working life covering retail, disability in two countries and various roles, the justice system in various roles, and the military, I have experienced many levels of divers populations and seen first hand the results of people who do not understand how to help someone in need and also what happens to those that do not get the support that they need. I volunteer as a Scout Leader and as a North Queensland Co-coordinator for Black Dog Rides.
I believe MHFA belongs in every workplace and every home and school across our beautiful country. It is a non-physical injury that can only be recognised and supported through education and awareness.
