Jackie is passionate about first aid - mental, physical & emotional. With the philosophy of empowering individuals to help make a difference with their friends, family & colleagues.
Recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, previously completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Sports Studies), a Post Grad in Biomedical Science (Health Promotion) and a Graduate Diploma in Education (Training & Development).
Further mental health knowledge is enhanced by current studies in Transactional Analysis (Certified Transactional Analyst in Education) and previously as a volunteer Lifeline telephone counsellor.
Jackie has applied these first aid principles in a variety of settings, and seeks to impart practical knowledge to each group.
For over 25 years Jackie has been involved in the health area, with training experience in a wide variety of industries including, University lecturing,emergency management, sports medicine, health promotion, road safety and "physical" first aid. Jackie has delivered courses to a wide variety of people and organisations, including; local & state government, non-government & not-for profits, frontline managers, executives, mine site workers & trades people, school teachers & students, senior citizens & sporting clubs.
