Kat is a Lived Experience Instructor delivering Mental Health First Aid to community, mental health, aged care and disability support workers and also to the corporate, government and non government agencies.

Kat is the Chair of the Wanneroo & Communities Suicide Prevention Network which is a community based suicide prevention network and is supported by Wesley Lifeforce and is federally funded by the Department of Health and as such she delivers on the training on behalf of the network.
The network has grown to be one of the largest in WA and most active in community with more than 3600 plus members on it's database with active members consisting of lived experience, organisations, community champions and advocates making a difference in community and across Australia.
Her skills include being a Lived Experience Consultant, an Accredited LIFEstyle and Wellness Recovery Coach, Cert IV Mental Health Support Worker, Lifeline WA Ambassador and “My Time, My Life” Media Advocate on Family and Domestic Violence for Ruah Community Services.
Kat is a natural leader having won multiple scholarships with Leadership WA in their programs Leadability and the Rising Leaders.
Other elements to Kat's experience include producing and hosting the “Road To Recovery – Lived Experience Show" talking all things Mental Health, Suicide Awareness and the Recovery Journey with a variety of guests and experts from industry, policy, carers, consumers and providing the listeners with information on training, events, books and more.
Kat is a Keynote Speaker, Educator, Facilitator and strong Advocate on Suicide Prevention as someone who have been bereaved , experienced ideation and as an attempt survivor with a focus on policy and lived experience engagement with community both on a local, state and national level.
