Nicole is an experienced MHFA Instructor (Master Status), who brings 25 plus years of career experience into her MHFA facilitation, having worked in operations and management across a number of sectors. As a mother of four, including teenagers and twins, Nicole 'gets' the pressures of balancing life and career and the impact poor mental health can have.
An engaging and adaptable presenter, Nicole delivers MHFA with a positive and realistic approach, adding a splash of humour to have participants at ease and making the training enjoyable. Also a licensee of The Wellbeing Lab, a Michelle McQuaid program, Nicole infuses this additional knowledge into the self care elements of the course.
Nicole is able to conduct Mental Health First Aid training direct to your team in your workplace, using practical examples of implementation to your industry. In consultation with your organisation, courses can be tailored to suit your business and your employee demographics. Organisations delivered to include Baker Heart & Diabetes Institute, Youth Projects, Nillumbik & Banyule Councils, Rotary Prahran, Gowrie Victoria, Mactier Community Centre (Simpson Army Barracks), Australian Grand Prix Corporation to name a few.
Nicole is keen to meet with you to discuss MHFA and will provide clear insight into how MHFA can benefit your organisation and in particular staff performance be that through employee productivity, enhanced client service or improved safety. Nicole holds a Diploma in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing, providing a bonus opportunity to share evidence based actions with your staff, that they can use to support their individual wellbeing.
Public courses are available to book, perfect for road testing MHFA by one or two staff with a view to training your wider team. Discounts available for multiple numbers of staff from one organisation.
