Wendy is an experienced trainer and has spoken and presented at various National and International conferences and forums. Currently presenting workplace based mental health and wellbeing programs, Wendy has also developed “Talking About Suicide”, an evidence based training program to recognise and respond to those at risk of , or bereaved by suicide and has presented Suicide Prevention and Bereavement training in various communities around Australia. In 2016 Wendy was awarded the Tasmanian Suicide Prevention LiFE Award for Outstanding Contribution by an Individual and in 2017 was recognised by Suicide Prevention Australia as the recipient of the National LiFE Award for Excellence in Suicide Prevention, Community Development (Individual) . She is a believer that Mental Health First Aid can save lives. Wendy is available to conduct Mental Health First Aid training around Australia and in rural and remote areas.
