Germaine has been an accredited Physical First Aid trainer for more than 10 years, working as a contract trainer for several larger RTO’s (Registered Training Organisations). She teaches courses from CPR to Provide First Aid, Childcare First Aid to Remote & Advanced First Aid as well as shorter courses like Low Voltage Rescue and Advanced Resuscitation and has always received great feedback.

Since 2018 she has been loving teaching the Standard Mental Health First Aid course and has since added the Blended Workplace MHFA and Youth Mental Health First Aid to her repertoire.

Germaine can conduct both work place training and public courses Australia Wide in Physical First Aid courses as well as Mental Health First Aid courses.

For organization’s she can offer great deals and flexibility;

1) - Full Face to Face courses in any Physical First Aid as well as Standard or Youth Mental Health First Aid.

2) - Blended online eLearning in any Physical First Aid as well as Standard or Youth Mental Health First Aid of the workplace and then practical only in the workplace/ class room.
This is designed for the workplace that require flexibility in the delivery if the training for the staff members.

Germaine has worked and travelled around the world and has now settled in Brisbane with her family. During this time, she has lived experiences with the mental health challenges associated with looking after her ailing father for many years and raising a child needing extra support. With her background in Travel, Business, Naturopathy and as a Trainer, she relates well with people from all walks of life and is comfortable to teach either in the corporate world, white color, blue color or the younger generation.

Germaine’s goal is to reduce the stigma and also to create the awareness so people act sooner rather than taking the “she’ll be right” attitude, to one of the most important aspect in a person’s life, their mental well-being. To her it feels very rewarding teaching these courses giving participants the confidence to care and the knowledge of how to help.
