Mark Dickens has over 22 years of experience in pastoral care and counselling, working in settings which include schools, hospitals, church congregations and community based organisations associated with palliative care, domestic violence, and mental health support.
Described as ‘thoughtful, measured, yet direct and unflappable,’ Mark brings a non-judgemental approach that values the worth of every individual. His support of others in times of crisis, trauma, and grief have been highly affirmed.
He is passionate about education and lifelong learning that equips people with the skills and tools necessary to promote and maintain good health and wellbeing. As an educator and facilitator, Mark is keen to share his knowledge and experiences with others.
Mark is presently employed as the Chaplain at Prince Alfred College. He is also an Australian Army Reserves Chaplain, currently posted to the Australian Army Cadets SA Head Quarters.
