Libby is an accredited Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor, also offering the 4-hour Conversations About Suicide training course.

With a background in Arts and Education, Libby has extensive experience in working with young people and adults, and is a freelance writer for International mental health zines.

Facilitating the YMHFA training courses in all Australian states, and specialising in remote and rural areas, Libby spends most of her time between Queensland and Western Australia.

As a Musical Theatre Director and Teacher, Libby delivers dance, drama, and singing programmes that facilitate engaging theatre arts experiences for children and young adults. The Arts are a powerful means of self-expression and development, used to help young people explore their emotions, develop self-awareness, cope with stress, boost self-esteem, and work on social skills. These opportunities for young people are positive ways to help emotions and feelings be expressed in a safe and fun environment when words simply aren’t enough.

Libby is also actively involved in local community alliances for mental health - Mindful Margaret River, and Alliance Against Depression -, and supports Indigenous scholarships through her bookings.

Passionate about Mental Health and Youth, and having worked and travelled internationally in Africa, United Kingdom, Europe, and throughout Australia; Libby brings a fresh and knowledgeable approach - delivered in a supportive environment - to her courses and classes.
