As well as being a qualified Mental Health First Aid Instructor, I am a Naturopath, Nutritionist, Herbalist and a registered Early Childhood Teacher with several qualifications: Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) - Endeavour College of Natural Health, Bachelor of Arts - University of Adelaide, Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood Education - University of South Australia, Bachelor of Education - University of South Australia,
Master of Education Studies Early Childhood Education - University of South Australia, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration - Southern Cross University.

Currently I am registered with the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA).

I am an advocate of living a physically and mentally healthy lifestyle and through my Naturopathic Clinic (Metabolism) aim to improve the quality of life for people using nutrition, nutraceuticals and Western Herbal Medicine, through a positive client experience.

As a Teacher, I value and understand the importance of being an active learner, so I readily pursue ongoing learning opportunities by attending meetings, seminars, conferences and workshops. This background also provides me with strategies to support and guide you on your learning journey as a Mental Health First Aider.

The Standard Mental Health First Aid Course is open to anyone over the age of 18 and if you join me, expect to learn in a safe and happy environment where everyone is able to participate and feel valued. The course includes food and beverages (COVID regulations allowing), the Mental Health First Aid Manual and writing materials.

I have chosen the Women's Community Centre as it is one of the oldest community centres in Adelaide and is the birthplace of the first Women’s Shelter, Rape Crisis Centre and Women’s Information Service in SA, so has a strong philosophy of nurturing resilience and supporting women in crisis. There is also limited parking available and a wonderful park nearby for a quick walk in the breaks. An extra bonus is, the proceeds from the room hire will be put to good use within the community. If you would like to do the 2 day Standard Mental Health First Aid Course with me, please register with one of the available dates below or make contact via the details provided. If you are an organisation and would like to discuss opportunities for work place training, please contact me directly via the details below.

My teaching skills also enable me to speak on a range of other topics, especially healthy living and eating, tailoring the information to suit your needs. If this is also of interest, please feel free to contact me.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting you, to support others, when they are at their most vulnerable.
