Personal and professional goals: My aim is to pass on the knowledge by using my Teaching and Training skills, Community Development and Cultural and Youth Work experience. Using the information, I have gained during my University studies and Work experience.

I am a Qualified Educator, trainer and facilitator who has taught Community Services, life and work skills and office skills to over 1000 adults and 1200 young people; Community Arts and Cultural Development Worker - Project success demonstrated by the high level of participation achieved (approximately 1800 people have participated in my events/activities Cross Cultural Trainer to work with a diverse group of International people, showing Compassion and Collaborating with them on projects Interpersonal and relationship skills gained through over years of working with people by contributing my experience and knowledge; Sound project management skills gained through organising over 50 Creative events over 15years and Conducted an Enoggera Local Area Plan study for Brisbane City Council of 1000 young people

A relevant achievement or accomplishment: I have worked as an Educator, Counsellor/Community/Youth Development Worker, and Project Manager. I have extensive experience working with young people and their families. I am a professional with Teaching and Counselling skills. Assisted over 1000 students to achieve their goals. Encouraged students with Mental Health issues and supported them in their recovery process, mental and emotional support. Supported students to get Vocational Placements aimed at genuine opportunities for career progression. Trained Students in Suicide Prevention strategies in the various Diploma cohorts.

My Skills and areas of expertise: Working with: Community and Cultural Awareness, encouraging diversity by showing fairness Couples who have relationship issues demonstrating empathy and building rapport Individuals who are having personal problems, including Mental Health issues by displaying respect for their Recovery; Showing enthusiasm when people reach their goals and/or achievements.

At present, I am Coordinator of people with Psychosocial health difficulties on NDIS. Working with them on their Plan and Goals. Supporting them with their budgets with the Budget Planners. Conducting Case Management meetings with NDIS Support Workers and the client. Ensuring their Progress and their Mental Health wellbeing. Supporting an independent lifestyle which includes living outside the home. Encouraging supportive Psychosocial environments. Additionally, I have the following: Over 10 Years’ experience Counselling with Adults, Young People, and Couples. Consultant Counselor for EAP clients Training in Art Therapy workshops
