Jo has a lifelong career in healthcare and wellbeing. She is a hospital and university-trained registered nurse (BN), counsellor (GradDip Couns), yoga teacher (YA) and has trained as a mindfulness facilitator in the UK (MBCT) and in Australia (MBSR). She also has a background in corporate sales, training and research, and is a mother to three teenagers and four rescue cats and dogs.

Jo is known for being a passionate and enthusiastic facilitator with an ability to engage audiences with her authentic and relaxed manner. She is the founder of Treat Healthcare and since 2014 has facilitated hundreds of staff wellbeing sessions at Alfred Health, Eastern Health, Northern Health and Melbourne Health. She has presented to Victoria Police, primary and secondary schools, Carers Gateway, Community Health Services and advertising and marketing organisations. She believes that MHFA training is the other arm to the TREAT self-care programs she delivers and is excited to bring this to her offerings to increase awareness, compassion and knowledge about mental health.

Please contact Jo to further discuss your organisation's training needs and how MHFA training can benefit your organisation.
