Fred has worked in both the areas of public and community training for more than 25 years. He has a wealth of experience as both a counsellor (Suicide Help Line, Mens Line, Veterans Line, Beyond Blue etc) and as a face to face mediator in cases of high conflict often involving mental health issues. Fred is an advocate of helping people become comfortable in working with mental health issues.

He now delivers the 4th Edition (2017) Training versions of both the Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid Course (plus the refresher courses for those seeking re-accreditation after their initial 3 years). Fred also delivers the Adult course for those working with an intellectually disability. He now also provides Teen Mental Health First Aid (a course delivered directly to you young people in Years 10,11 or 12) as well as the Workplace blended course, Tertiary course and mental health first aid for the suicidal person. Fred delivers these courses as a principal master instructor.
