Debby has over 30 years experience in the provision of counselling and therapy series in regional and rural NSW. While she has worked with people of all ages, much of her work has been with young people, in settings such as TAFE Counselling Services, university counselling service, Community Health, headspace, as well as in private practice. She has also worked as Senior Clinical Psychologist in a psychiatric hospital setting. Debby is experienced as a trainer and supervisor for psychologists, and other health professionals. She has conducted a private psychology practice since 2001, and since mid 2016 has worked full-time in her psychology practice Pathways Psychology, based at Bathurst, NSW.

Debby is particularly enthusiastic about early intervention for mental health problems, and has conducted early intervention group programs for parents, mothers depressed and/or anxious postnatally, children and adolescents with anxiety problems or disorders, and mindfulness based programs for adolescents and adults. She has accreditation and experience in conducting Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) and teen Mental Health First Aid (t-MHFA) in community and school settings. She is also accredited to conduct Mental Health First Aid for the Suicidal Person, and the Blended Mental Health First Aid for Tertiary Students.

Debby has the following formal qualifications: BA(Soc Sci); Grad Dip Counselling; Psych(Clinical), and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a Member of the APS Colleges of Clinical and Counselling Psychology.
