As part of AFL Richmond Football Club’s commitment to health and wellbeing, players, coaches and staff attended Mental Health First Aid training during this year's pre-season. The training was conducted by MHFA Instructors from the Mental Health Education Group.

"Sporting clubs are high-pressure environments and we want to ensure that our workplace is inclusive and supportive,” General Manager – Football, Neil Balme said.

We are impressed to hear that the AFL and specifically Richmond are taking mental health matters seriously and educating their players in how to recognise the signs of developing mental health problems and mental health crises.
