What’s your why?
To celebrate 25 years of Mental Health First Aid, we invite each of our MHFAiders, Instructors, international partners and providers to share a short 30-60 second video sharing your ‘why’. Why did you decide to become an MHFAider, an instructor, a provider, or a partner? Why are you passionate about MHFA?
Share a 30-60 second video!
Record a short 30-60 second video about why you’re proud to be a part of this incredible movement.
Whether you’re an MHFAider, an instructor, a provider, or a partner delivering MHFA, your story matters – and we want to hear it!
Some helpful tips to create your video:
* Stand in a quiet place to block out background noise
* Neutral background, good lighting
* Keep your phone camera landscape (filming as a selfie or on your webcam is fine)
* Try to film from your midsection up (see attached example)
* Allow a few seconds after pressing record before you start speaking, and before you stop recording
* Keep it 30 – 60 seconds
* Speak as natural and conversational as possible – like you’re chatting to someone
* Avoid using anyone else’s identifying details such as the name/location.
